Coos Art Museum Expressions West 2010

The April 23rd reception for Expressions West 2010 at the Coos Art Museum was very nice and well attended. I am pleased to have my plein air pastel painting "Deadline Falls II" accepted into the show. It's exciting having one of my paintings hanging on the wall of a museum!

Afternoon Glow, 9"x18" plein air pastel painting

This piece was painted during the Northwest Pastel Society's paint-out last year at Rasmussen Farms in Hood River. The golden glow of the hills was beautiful.
